Ataxia-telangiectasia (AT) is perceived differently by neurologists, radiotherapists,
radiobiologists, cytogeneticists, immunologists, geneticists, and tumor biologists. The
neurologist sees a progressive cerebellar ataxia with onset in early childhood. The
radiotherapist worries about inadvertently treating patients with AT (that is, homozygotes)
